Introduction

NodeLocal DNSCache 镜像，K8s 节点本地 DNS 缓存 DaemonSet，降低 CoreDNS 负载并提升 Pod DNS 解析性能。

Details

kubesphere/k8s-dns-node-cache 运行 NodeLocal DNSCache，在每个节点本地监听 DNS 查询并缓存 CoreDNS 响应。定位为 K8s DNS 缓存 DaemonSet，需 hostNetwork；大规模集群 DNS 性能优化、CoreDNS 负载降低或 DNS 解析延迟优化。

快速启动

docker pull docker.io/kubesphere/k8s-dns-node-cache:1.22.20
# kubectl apply -f node-local-dns.yaml

# DaemonSet hostNetwork 监听 169.254.20.10
# kubelet 配置 clusterDNS 指向本地缓存

核心参数说明

  • 角色 — 节点 DNS 缓存 DaemonSet
  • hostNetwork — 绑定节点 DNS 地址
  • upstream — 转发至 CoreDNS
  • 勿 — 独立 docker run
